Smartphone Training for Attention Regulation Study

The Smartphone Training for Attention Regulation (STAR) study is recruiting patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome for our NIH-funded trial. The aim of this large scientific study is to make life with IBS more comfortable! All selected participants will be paid up to $450 for their help, most of which can be completed from your phone, at home or on the go.

This is a multi-session study offering a 14-day at-home training program for stress reduction in IBS. There will also be three study appointments (two in person at CMU and one remote/online), each about 1-2 hours long. You may be eligible to participate if you are 18 years or older, diagnosed with IBS, and available 3 months for brief study activities.

Learn more about the study and see if you'd be eligible by completing this online screening survey: https://cmu.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_6Xvhyas3LUGNd7E
